Learning Beyond Classrooms: Amritsar Law College Students explore Sustainability and Innovation at Pushpa Gujral Science City
At Amritsar Law College students do not just learn inside a classroom. They go beyond that. The students of B.A. LL.B. Semester IV went to Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala on 28 April 2026. This was part of their Environmental Studies class.
The trip was planned so that students could see how people use Sustainability and new technologies in their lives. This was a chance for students to learn by doing things and to connect what they learn in class to the real world. Students of Amritsar Law College got to learn in a different way.
Exploring Environmental Sustainability
One of the things about the trip was seeing exhibits about taking care of the environment climate change, renewable energy and protecting the environment. Students learned a lot about how important it's to take care of the earth and its resources for future generations.
There were displays and models that helped students understand how peoples actions affect the environment. Students saw that we need to develop in a way that's sustainable. The trip made students think more about what they learned in class about taking care of the environment. It also made them think about the environmental problems we face today.
Understanding Science and Technology
The trip to Science City also showed students technologies and scientific discoveries. There were exhibits and demonstrations that taught students about saving energy, space science, robots and new technologies that are changing industries and societies around the world.
Students saw how science and technology can be used to help the environment and make peoples lives better. This kind of learning helps students see the picture and appreciate how innovation can help make development sustainable.
Enhancing Social Awareness
For law students it is very important to understand environmental issues. Environmental laws and sustainability policies play a role in how the country is governed and how peoples lives are affected. The trip gave students an understanding of environmental and social issues that affect the law and policymaking.
The trip made Amritsar Law College Students think about how law, science and society are connected. Amritsar Law College wants its students to be excellent in their studies and to develop as people. The college gives students chances to learn by doing to interact with industries to do research and to learn through experience.
